In their words, not ours
We include the uncomfortable feedback too. It tends to be more informative than the comfortable kind.
Clients of Ft. Social Crew in India most often cite transparency about what is not working, verifiable reporting methodology, and continuity of the people doing the work.
We were getting enquiries, but most were people just checking prices with no intention of buying. They reworked how we were capturing leads and added a few qualifying questions before the form went through. Volume dropped at first, which worried me, but the calls we take now are much more serious. My sales team is not wasting half the day on dead conversations anymore.
Search & content
Most of our customers come from within a few kilometres, but we were not showing up when people searched nearby. They started with our Google Business Profile, fixed the categories and photos, and cleaned up our address details on other listing sites. It took a couple of months before we noticed a difference. Now we get calls from people who say they found us on Maps, which was not happening earlier.
Our app had decent reviews but nobody was finding it. The team went through the listing properly — title, description, screenshots, the keywords we were targeting. They explained why some of our keywords were too competitive for an app our size and suggested better ones. Downloads picked up gradually after the listing changes went live. Honestly, I did not expect the screenshots to matter that much.
We kept hearing that people were asking AI tools instead of Google, and I had no idea what to do about it. They audited our content and restructured a lot of it — clearer answers, proper FAQ sections, schema markup on the key pages. It was not a quick fix and they were upfront about that. Over time we started seeing our brand come up when we tested a few AI search queries ourselves.
Our blog was a mess of old posts nobody read. They went through everything, told us honestly what should be removed, and built a content plan around what our customers actually search for. The writing is in plain language and not stuffed with keywords, which I appreciated. Traffic has been climbing steadily and my sales team now shares blog links when they follow up with prospects.
Advertising & leads
We were running ads ourselves and burning money on clicks that went nowhere. They restructured the whole account, added negative keywords, and rewrote the ads to match what we actually offer. What I liked is that they explained where the budget was going instead of only sending a monthly report. Cost per enquiry came down and the enquiries are far more relevant to our services now.
Our first few campaigns did well and then just stopped working. They explained creative fatigue to me in a way that finally made sense and set up a testing routine so we always have new creatives ready to go. Retargeting was also set up properly for the first time. Sales have been steadier month to month instead of the ups and downs we had before.
LinkedIn is expensive and our earlier attempts were not worth the spend. They narrowed the targeting to specific job titles and company sizes instead of the broad audience we had, and changed the offer to something people would actually download. Lead cost is still higher than other platforms, but the quality is much better. Our sales team stopped complaining about the leads, which says a lot.
We sell a large catalogue and were promoting everything equally, which made no sense. They looked at our margins and shifted spend towards the products that actually make us money. Our product feed also had errors we did not know about. Return on ad spend improved once all of that was cleaned up, and I finally understand which campaigns are worth putting more budget behind.
Web & product
Our old site was slow and I could not update anything without calling a developer. They rebuilt it on WordPress and set it up so my team can edit text and add pages ourselves. It loads much faster on phones now, which was the main complaint we used to get from customers. The handover included a short training call, which I found genuinely useful.
Setting up the store felt overwhelming and I had already tried once and given up. They handled the whole thing — theme customisation, product uploads, payment and shipping integration. Checkout is simple now and works properly on mobile, which is where most of our orders come from. They also showed me how to manage inventory myself, so I am not dependent on someone for small changes.
Users were signing up and then dropping off, and we could not figure out why. They mapped the whole journey and pointed out steps that were confusing — things we had stopped noticing because we were too close to the product. The redesign made navigation much simpler. Onboarding completion improved and support queries about basic features have come down noticeably.
Everything was running on spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups, and information kept getting lost. They built a system around how we actually work rather than forcing us into standard software. Attendance, leaves and customer follow-ups sit in one place now. There was a rough patch during the switchover and the team stayed available through it. Reporting that used to take two days now takes a few clicks.

Why are company names withheld?
Many engagements carry confidentiality terms. Where a client permits it we name them; otherwise we describe the sector and city, and can usually arrange a reference call.
Can we speak to a reference client?
Yes — once an engagement is under serious consideration, we can usually arrange a conversation with a client in a comparable sector.
